Egypt and Egyptians Difference:
There is a difference between what may benefit Egypt but not the Egyptians.
For example, the Suez Canal is a great project for Egypt, sadly Egyptian paid
dearly in building it and keeping it protected and running. The actual canal
income was always used by rulers such Mubarak who was accused of taking from the
Suez income to his funds. See the following link and image:

over $760 billion which is banked in US and Europe.

2009 Football Matches Between Egypt and Algeria
Mubarak's System tactics uses Sport and media to create distractions as well as
set the country mode. For example, the soccer game between Egypt and Algeria in
November 2009, led to diplomatic tensions between Egypt, Algeria, and Sudan.

Egyptian Policy Brutality Tactics
There is a Egyptian expression which goes like this:
"Batter the tied up, the loose ones will be afraid" .
This means that if the police publically batter an Egyptian Citizen, then everyone
watching will learn the lesson of not to oppose the police or the government otherwise any citizen will
end up with the same inhuman beating.
It is a psychological tactic to put fear in Egyptians heart and mind.

Traffic Jam made to Order
Check the following facts:
•
|
2010 Cairo had over 2 million vehicles.
|
•
|
The size of Cairo is 174.9 sq miles (453 km²) which is roughly 20 X 10 miles
|
•
|
Add to the vehicles: pedestrians, peddlers, coffee shops' chairs and tables and not to mention the donkey driven carriages, then Traffic Jam is very much possible.
|
•
|
Another big and important factor is the Egyptian driving habits with one common goal is to get in front or be first regardless of the consequences.
|
Looking at the following two images, anyone can see that the number of main roads in Cairo are very small.
There is a number of ways to manufacture traffic jams in Cairo:
•
|
Take the police out of the streets and let the Egyptian drivers, on their own, do the damages and start the traffic jam.
|
•
|
By placing one major traffic obstruction in all the major streets (both ways), Cairo Traffic would come to a total halt. Not to mention delays would be in hours if not half-days.
|
•
|
With the use of real time Google Earth software, Egyptian traffic jam can be monitored by anyone.
|
•
|
We as analysts believe that Mubarak's System implements such tactics to create Cairo's traffic jams and set the country mood.
